SWAP- Street Worker's Advocacy Project

The Street Workers Advocacy Project provides a safe environment and support for people who have involvement in street prostitution and youth who are at risk for involvement in street life.  We work to give voice to street workers in Regina through services, advocacy, community education, relationship building and collaboration.

In honouring the original vision of SWAP, developed by women working in the street sex trade, we remain committed to a holistic approach to service delivery, informed by the experiences and wisdom of those we work with.

As a client-directed agency using a client-centered approach, SWAP has been recognized as a leader in developing what is now considered internationally as best practices.

SWAP’s services are based on a foundation of respect and unconditional acceptance.  We support and connect people with resources and opportunities to improve their safety and well-being, to help them explore options and to achieve their potential.  We welcome anyone in our community who is seeking support for themselves or for someone they care about.
